Sahana moved to NYC for her college career and in her first summer, she noticed all of the brightly colored drinks from outdoor cafes and restaurants. Aperol spritzers and Manhattan’s sooner than later appeared at her friend’s tables all adorned with an orange slice. At the end of dinner, Sahana’s favorite dessert would be a molten chocolate lava cake, split between friends. She decided to combine these two flavors, creating the Orange Chocolate Cake.
